Most people do not realize that most financial planner have many clients who have various financial issues. Independent financial planners work with a planner regularly and have their financial portfolios, which are different from the big firms. In addition to their other clients, the financial planner may have other relatives and friends who require their help daily, such as retirement and estate planning, and investing in tax liens and commercial properties. Some independent planners work for government agencies, law firms, and insurance companies. In most instances, these individuals are required to be licensed by the state in which they work.
